Ski Tour in Karakol, Kyrgyzstan

Karakol is an amazing place to go horseback with skis/snowboards and get some turns in in the backcountry.  Close to Karakol there is many places where you can take the horses backcountry and get up to the top of most mountains.  We offer you a full package where we can book the guest house and all the transport needed for your tour.  We can do one day or multi days.  The Ski Guide will be responsible for your safety and they know where all the best lines are.  It’s very important to understand the dangers of going backcountry in Kyrgyzstan, please look below at the check list of equipment you will need to bring with you.

Also, don’t forget extra batteries for your beacon, GPS, and headlamp, and make sure you have the right size(s). If you need them, you’ll also be glad you brought ski crampons and toilet paper (with “blue bag”).
